Lithuanian opera diva Irena Milkevičiūtė received the most important award bestowed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania - plaque of honour "Carry Your Light and Believe". The award was given to the soloist to mark her initiatives and ideas kindled in the context of Lithuanian culture, inspiring the cultural society, and to honour her personal point of view and responsibility while creating the cultural and spiritual space around her.
