On this November evening, different eras, cultures and musical languages will come together on the stage of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre – from contemporary Lithuanian creation to the great peaks of symphony.
The orchestra, choir and soloists will create an impressive multi-layered musical experience – a journey from the subtle, atmospheric silence of dawn as imagined by Dominykas Digimas, through Benjamin Britten’s vibrant, colourful look at the English folk music tradition, Manuel de Falla’s passionate, dramatic love story to new horizons in Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, From the New World.
