Information about the audition and participants
The audition will be held in two parts:
1. Audition of professional opera soloists for roles. Professional opera soloists are invited – mezzo-sopranos, countertenors, tenors, baritones, basses.
2. Audition for the position of opera soloist-trainee. Professional opera soloists and 2nd year master's students in the singing specialty (on the day of registration) are invited to participate in the audition - sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, countertenors, tenors, baritones, basses. Age limit: for women – 32 years (on the day of the audition inclusive), for men – 34 years (on the day of the audition inclusive).
Registration
Registration is required to participate in the audition.
Registration is open until 13 February 2026 (inclusive). Applications will not be accepted after this time.
Confirmation
After completing and submitting the online registration form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Requirements
In the online registration form you shall find the requirements to submit:
1) a creative CV with a photograph;
Technical CV requirements:
2) A cover letter in Lithuanian or English, fitting on one A4 sheet in pdf format;
3) A list of 3 opera / operetta arias of different characters that you will perform during the audition (it is recommended to choose pieces from LNOBT’s repertoire).
Programme
For the audition, you need to prepare 3 freely chosen arias from operas / operettas of different characters (it is recommended to choose pieces from LNOBT’s repertoire).
Other conditions
The audition may be filmed and broadcast on LNOBT's social media channels.
