BIOGRAPHY

In 2014 Karolina Matačinaitė graduated from the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, and began dancing at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre in that same year.In 2015 she won the Ballet Hope of the Year Award at the Soloists of the Year Awards. She has toured with the LNOBT Ballet Company in China, Estonia, Latvia and Poland.

Credited roles: Little Theatre Mouse Queen, Russian Dance, Waltz and Snowflake soloist ("The Nutcracker“); Soloist of Indian dance, Grand Pas, soloist of "Shadows“ scene ("La Bayadere“); Energy Fairy, Grand Pas soloist, Gemstone ("Sleeping Beauty“); Stepmother ("Cinderella“); Kitri's Girlfriend ("Don Quixote“); Hungarian dance soloist, Big Swan soloist ("Swan Lake“); Pas de quattre ("Piaf“); Fairy ("The Snow Queen") and more.
