Julija Šumacherytė graduated from the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts in 2016. While still in school she performed the role of Jurga in V. Brazdylis‘ production "The Mill of Baltaragis" on the stage of the Dance Theatre, during school tours in St. Petersburg and on the stage of the Hermitage Theatre. At the LNOBT she danced the role of Cinderella in "Cinderella“, actively participated in school concerts and performances. She began her internship at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre before she left school and officially joined the ballet company in 2017. Together with the LNOBT J. Šumacherytė has toured in China, Estonia, Poland and Latvia. The dancer participated in "Creative Impulse“ projects.
