GRETA GYLYTĖ

BIOGRAPHY

Ms. Gylytė graduated from the M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts in 2008, having studied with teachers A. Domeikienė, B. Tomaševičienė and J. Vymerytė. In that same year she became a part of the LNOBT’s ballet company. Together with the LNOBT she has toured to Italy, Hungary, Latvia, Germany, Spain and China.

Her roles include: Odette / Odile (“Swan Lake”), Bolero soloist (“Bolero”), Olympia (“Coppélia”), Carmen (“Carmen”), Girl (“The Miraculous Mandarin”), Queen Bona Sforza (“Barbora Radvilaitė”), Female soloist („La Piaf“), Mirthe (“Giselle”), Gamzatti (“La Bayadere”), Mercedes, street dancer, Queen of Dryads (“Don Quixote”), Franciska (“The Blue Danube”), Zulméa (“Le corsaire”), Laima (“In the Beginning There Was Nothing”), Blanchefleur (“Tristan and Isolde”), Lady Capulet, Juliet‘s Mother (“Romeo and Juliet”), Mouse Queen, Pas de quatre (“The Nutcracker”), Mother (“La Strada”), Good Fairy (“Les Millions d'Arlequin”), Bronislawa (“Čiurlionis”), Gipsy (“The Snow Queen”), Sister (“Eglė the Queen of Grass Snakes”), Swallow (“Donctor Ouchaches”), Countess Cherry (“Cipollino”),  Fairy of Lilacs, Fairy of Energy, Jewels (“The Sleeping Beauty”), Hungarian dance soloist, The Grand Swan (“Swan Lake”), Grand pas, Soloist of Jampa (“La Bayadere”), Three Friends (“La Sylphide”) etc.
