Each LNOBT Open festival has its own special night. This year, it is the premiere of the festival – a theatrical production of Joseph Haydn's oratorio The Creation, prepared by an international team assembled by the director Fabio Ceresa, who is already familiar to our audience from the latest production of La Traviata. The oratorio will be conducted by Valentin Egel, a young German conductor, who since January 2021 has been working as the artistic director of the Croatian National Theater and the Rijeka Symphony Orchestra. Along with young Lithuanian soloists Lina Dambrauskaitė, Monika Pleškytė, Raimundas Juzuitis and Joris Rubinovas, an excellent interpreter of baroque music from Great Britain tenor Ruairi Bowen will also sing in this production. Thus, The Creation promises to be a performance full of youthful energy!
