Suffice it to mention that in 1940 the Mexican songwriter Consuelo Velázquez wrote his famous song Bésame mucho based on one of the arias of this opera. J. Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez for guitar and orchestra is by far Rodrigo's best-known work, the success of which has established him as one of the most significant Spanish composers of the twentieth century. I. Albeniz's Spanish Suite No. 1 for orchestra is like a wonderful trip to the Spanish cities. Allow yourself to feel the atmosphere of Spanish night on a Lithuanian summer evening!
