On 16 February we invite you to the recital of Kostas Smoriginas, who has recently become a soloist with the LNOBT. This concert features works by Lithuanian composers only, therefore its dedication to the Day of the Restoration of the Lithuanian State is extremely meaningful. The musical paths of the opera soloist Kostas Smoriginas’ career have already taken him to the stages of London's Covent Garden, Milan's La Scala, Berlin and other world-famous opera houses. Thus it is especially wonderful to present him as a member of LNOBT’s Opera Company. Although K. Smoriginas has been heard by the audience many times in various theatre performances, this concert of Lithuanian works is almost like a debut, revealing yet another colourful facet of the singer.
