For several years before his death, composer Ryuichi Sakamoto was unable to perform live. Nevertheless, at the end of 2022, he gathered all his strength to leave the world with one last performance - a concert film featuring only him and a piano. The concert begins in the early morning light as Sakamoto arrives on stage. As the day breaks, the pieces, performed in the order of his choice, span his entire career, from his period of pop stardom in the Yellow Magic Orchestra to the wonderful soundtracks of Bertolucci's films and his last album, 12. This is not just a concert, it is a meditation on time and creativity, and a farewell to one of Japan's greatest musicians.
