The last film with a soundtrack by legendary Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, the gripping new film "Monster" by festival favourite Hirokazu Kore-eda. The drama by the director of "Shoplifters", is the winner of the Best Screenplay award at the Cannes Film Festival.
Minato's behaviour is increasingly worrying. His mother, Saki, tries to find the reasons at school. Here she encounters Hori, a teacher who she believes is the source of her son's problems. The teacher denies the accusations, but Saki refuses to listen. She becomes obsessed with proving Hori's guilt and begins to stalk him. As the story unfolds, we see the different perspectives of Saki, Hori and Minato - each with their own version of the truth. But will it become clear which of them is the real monster?
