Information

A grand ballet concert presenting the exceptional mastery of the dancers of the ballet company of the Kharkiv National Opera and Ballet Theatre. The concert program includes fragments of the most striking classical and modern ballets. Performed by the symphony orchestra of the Kharkiv opera, conducted by Dmytro Morozov, Juryj Jakovenko.

The Wheel of Fortune is a special spectacle, quite unexpected for the audience. It is a combination of the well-known choral cantata by Carlo Orff Carmina Burana and the language of dance. This magnificent work shows how often happiness is replaced by sorrow, hope by grief, and the whole world, including human feelings, is ruled by the almighty Fortune. Carmina Burana is a European cultural tradition typical of both Ukrainians and Lithuanians.
